April 2012 Newsletter

Hello, Everyone,

To do the impossible, you must first BELIEVE IT IS POSSIBLE! As Eldon Taylor states in I Believe, “The courage to change your life is a process, one step at a time. The wisdom required to take that action rests within all of us. With every step we take, our confidence increases and we realize the true power of the gift of life. In this process, we find that believing in ourselves unlocks so much magic that life takes on an entirely new glorious nature.”
The mind is so powerful that it has the potential to change everything in ones life. There is the saying, As you think, so shall you be. What a powerful statement this is! What you have inside of you is unlimited potential to create anything you want. You have to believe that you are a co-creator and that you come from a source that is unlimited. How we create is through our thinking and being.
It is very important to realize that we are not alone, that there are powers far beyond our understanding, and that there is a purpose to existence. It does not matter if we call this being or these powers God, Christ, the Great Spirit, or Brahma. It does matter that we believe in something greater than ourselves, and that we maintain that belief — even in the face of pain, doubt and disappointment.
Blessings,
Daniel

Thought for the Day:

“When we are born we are weak and tender. When we die we are hard and stiff. Green plants are soft and fragile. At their death they are dry and brittle. Therefore the hard and stiff are followers of death. The soft and weak are followers of life. ~ Lao- Tzu

To be healthy is not simply a matter of not being ill; to be healthy is to be balanced, grounded, strong, and clear of mind. Medicine and sickness mutually correspond. The whole universe is medicine. Who is the self? ~Yun Men

Lite Thought:

“I’m astounded by people who want to ‘know’ the universe when it’s hard enough to find your way around Chinatown.”-Woody Allen
An Inuit hunter asked the local missionary priest: “If I did not know about God and sin, would I go to hell?” “No,” said the priest, “not if you did not know.” “Then why,” asked the Inuit earnestly, “did you tell me?” Annie Dillard
