Fall Trees Birch

Hello Everyone;
The one thing that I hear from my students a lot is that their schedules are too busy to find the time to meditate. Most people are too busy making money, raising family etc. Meditators have good intentions at first but soon fall off the wagon, and then there can be self-degradation, frustration with the self and even giving up on the whole idea to meditate.
Know that the mind is always thinking that’s what it does. Since it keeps generating thoughts it is up to you which ones you give attention to and believe in and which ones you discard. Your mind
cannot stop thinking, it is what it does. Awareness is the key. When you think you haven’t meditated enough, bring in the thought that even one meditation is of great benefit and should be appreciated positively. When you overeat or eat unhealthy foods and think badly of yourself, cultivate the thought that, through awareness of your destructive thinking, you develop the power to change it. This awareness of yourself is, in and of itself, a positive achievement. First there’s awareness, then you develop the power to change your thoughts and from that you change your behavioral patterns. Contemplation and practice will take you even further. You’ll become aware that your ability to make changes is now unfolding from the infinite power generated in meditation.
Meditation is Conscious awareness of self. “As I think so shall I be”

Thoughts for the Day;

“I looked always outside myself to see what I could make the world give me instead of looking within myself to see what was there.” ` Belle Livingstone adventurer and writer

“Cultivation is based on trust and belief
Trust your process, believe in the process.” `Wong Loh Sin See

“No one can take away cultivation of the heart. Cultivate the sensitivity of your heart. Your heart is the most important aspect of being human.
If we are able to have a heart that is big, no matter whether we are rich or poor, we have prosperity. Your cultivation is yours to focus on. There is no short cut; it is your journey and your responsibility.
Time, Patience, and Wisdom, it takes time and patience to gain wisdom. It takes wisdom to appreciate time and patience, ~Wong Loh Sin See

Lite Thoughts:

“Trust everybody, but cut the cards.” ~ Finley Peter Dunne, humorist

“Advice is what we ask for when we already know the answer but wish we didn’t.” ~Erica Jong

“It’s not that I’m so smart, it’s just that I stay with problems longer.”
-Albert Einstein
“The man who doesn’t read good books has no advantage
over the man who can’t read them.”
-Mark Twain
